I have always known that I carry something. Not an ego, not ambition — a weight. The kind of weight that comes with a specific, irreplaceable assignment on your life. For most of my adult life I have been learning what that weight is, what it is for, and how to carry it without losing myself in the carrying.
I started in retail. I moved into business development. I found my way into non-profit and ministry leadership. I went back to school — three times — completing an MBA, a Master of Actuarial Science, and a Master of Counselling. I built organisations, wrote books, trained teams, and coached leaders across five continents. And through all of it I kept returning to the same question: what is the fracture underneath the achievement?
That question became my life's work. First as a minister, then as a coach, then as a psychotherapist. Each discipline gave me a deeper layer of access to the same structural reality. The Shift Into Legacy Institute is the most complete expression of that work to date — everything I have learned about the fracture, the cost, the origin, and the recalibration, codified into a four-school architecture that takes the high-achieving woman all the way from the gap to the inheritance.
I am also a wife of over twenty years, a mother of three, a daughter, a friend. Family is not the backdrop of this work — it is the foundation of it. Families Arising was built from the conviction that the family is the first unit of legacy — that what we transmit at home is what multiplies across generations.
